Conversions
At First American Payment Systems, we have developed a unique and proven system that simplifies the conversion process and allows you to retain your residual income. First American works alongside the financial institution to customize the conversion program. We assess your financial institution’s business strategies, goals and timelines before launching into a campaign. Additionally, we will provide you with a step-by-step roadmap of the entire process.

Systemic conversion: First American works behind the scenes to point the merchant’s existing technology to ours. The merchant sees little to no change. These conversions usually take place when the financial institution (as opposed to the processor) owns the payment processing contract.

Manual conversion: The Corporate Sales Team at First American (or the financial institution if requested) consults your merchants and works with them to switch processors so that they can continue processing through their financial institution.
